EVENING EMBERS 050: THE PATH BEYOND THE LAMP

SCRIPTURE

“Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.”

Psalm 119:105

DEVOTIONAL

Night makes the unseen road feel longer.

Questions beyond the lamp begin asking for answers: What happens next? Will there be enough? Did I choose correctly? The darkness offers no proof, only space for fear to draw its own map.

But the path beyond your sight is not beyond God’s care. The lamp will move when morning asks you to move. Tonight, its work is finished.

Let the unseen remain unseen. You are permitted to rest before receiving the next portion of light.

INSIGHT

Trust accepts that tomorrow’s guidance does not have to arrive before tonight’s rest.

REFLECTION

What are you trying to see before its time?

Can you leave the unlit path with God tonight?

PRAYER

God, hold the road beyond my sight. Quiet every fear that tries to fill the darkness with its own predictions. Give me rest until the lamp moves again. Amen.

The path continues beyond the lamp.

God continues with it.
