EVENING EMBERS 041: LEAVE THE OUTCOME WITH GOD

SCRIPTURE

“Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this.”

Psalm 37:5

DEVOTIONAL

At day’s end, the road extends beyond sight.

You made choices, offered effort, and perhaps did the best you knew. Now the outcome continues somewhere your hands cannot reach.

This is the difficult mercy of evening: the work must separate from the worker. You are invited to stop.

Review the day honestly. Repair what can be repaired. Confess what needs confession. Then leave the consequence, response, and future with God. Trust is not proven by staying awake beside the seed.

INSIGHT

Rest completes the act of commitment by releasing the outcome after faithful work is done.

REFLECTION

Which outcome are you still trying to supervise?

What would release look like for tonight?

PRAYER

Yahweh, receive the road beyond this day. Bless what was faithful, correct what was not, and hold every outcome I cannot reach. I leave the night with You. Amen.

The road continues beyond your sight.

Leave its keeping with God.
