SCRIPTURE

“Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this.”

Psalm 37:5

DEVOTIONAL

We often want God to confirm the destination before we commit the road.

The psalm reverses that instinct. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust Him—not only with the outcome, but with the manner of walking.

Your way includes today’s choices, pace, motives, detours, and delays. Commitment is more than asking God to bless a plan already sealed. It is placing the road itself beneath His authority.

Offer Him the route you prefer and the result you fear. Then take the faithful step available, leaving room for correction.

INSIGHT

We entrust the way to God when we allow Him to govern both our destination and our steps.

REFLECTION

What plan are you asking God to endorse rather than direct?

What would it mean to commit the whole way to Him?

PRAYER

Yahweh, I commit my way to You—my plans, pace, motives, and hoped-for results. Correct me where needed and make the next step faithful. Amen.
