DAWN WATCH 078: DO NOT GO ALONE
MONDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2026 • PILGRIMAGE DAY 078
SCRIPTURE
“My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.”
Exodus 33:14 (KJV)
DEVOTIONAL
A new week can make the road feel larger than the traveler.
Moses had a people to lead and a future he could not secure. God’s answer did not hand him a detailed map of every difficulty. It promised presence. The journey would not depend only on the strength of the one taking it.
Before you organize what this Monday requires, bring yourself before God. Name the task you fear, the conversation you are postponing, and the uncertainty that keeps reaching into the morning. Ask for His company within the actual road.
You may still need to prepare carefully and seek good counsel. Trust does not remove these responsibilities. It gives them a different center: you are preparing as someone accompanied, not abandoned.
INSIGHT
God’s presence changes how we carry responsibility before it changes our circumstances.
REFLECTION
Where does this week feel larger than your strength?
What would preparation look like if you trusted that God goes with you?
PRAYER
Father, go with me into this week. Keep me attentive to Your presence in the work, the decisions, and the unknown places. Teach me to carry responsibility with You. Amen.
BENEDICTION
Take the first step accompanied.
The road is not yours to hold alone.
