SCRIPTURE

“rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles, continuing steadfastly in prayer,”

Romans 12:12

DEVOTIONAL

Some prayers do not reach a visible answer before night.

The request remains open. The person remains troubled. The decision remains uncertain. Continuing steadfastly in prayer means refusing to interpret delay as abandonment.

You do not need new language for everything you have already said. Return with the same need if it is still true. Steadfast prayer is not pressure placed on God; it is the heart continuing to place itself near Him.

Let the prayer remain without forcing the answer to arrive before sleep.

INSIGHT

Persistent prayer keeps relationship open while the answer is still being entrusted to God.

REFLECTION

Which prayer remains unanswered tonight?

Can you continue without turning persistence into control?

PRAYER

God, I bring You again what has not changed. Keep me steadfast without making me demanding, and let trust remain where the answer has not yet appeared. Amen.
