MONDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2026 • PILGRIMAGE DAY 092
SCRIPTURE
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)
DEVOTIONAL
Some days end without giving us a clear explanation of what happened.
You may be able to name the events and still not know what they mean. A conversation felt different than you expected. A door remained closed. A result arrived with questions attached.
Bring the facts to God without making the night produce a final interpretation. Where a follow-up is needed, give it a practical place in tomorrow. Where you simply do not know, let the words ‘I do not know yet’ remain honest and complete.
Trust is not a demand to call confusion good. It is a way of placing yourself before God while understanding remains unfinished. You may sleep without turning every unanswered question into a task that must be completed tonight.
INSIGHT
Unfinished understanding can be entrusted to God without being forced into an explanation.
REFLECTION
What are you trying to explain before you can rest?
Which question needs a later conversation rather than another hour of rehearsal?
PRAYER
God, receive what I cannot explain tonight. Guide the follow-up that is mine to make, and give me rest without the demand to understand the whole day. Amen.
BENEDICTION
Let the unexplained remain in God’s care.
Understanding does not have to be finished tonight.
