TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2026 • PILGRIMAGE DAY 093
SCRIPTURE
“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”
Psalm 90:12 (KJV)
DEVOTIONAL
A finished checklist is only one kind of account.
It may tell you what was completed without telling you how you listened, what you learned, or where you chose patience. It may also hide the real cost of trying to do too much.
Review today with the prayer of the psalm. Where did wisdom shape your time? Where did hurry carry you past something important? Notice these things without turning one day into a final judgment on your life.
If tomorrow needs a different priority, write it down. Then let today be a day that was lived, not merely a report to be improved. God can teach us through our ordinary hours, including the ones that end with a shorter list of accomplishments than we hoped.
INSIGHT
A wise review of the day includes the quality of our presence, not only the quantity of our work.
REFLECTION
What mattered today that a checklist would not record?
What small change would make tomorrow’s use of time wiser?
PRAYER
Father, thank You for the hours I received. Forgive my careless hurry, preserve what I learned, and help me rest without reducing the day to its output. Amen.
BENEDICTION
Let the day be more than a tally.
Carry its wisdom gently into tomorrow.
