SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2026 • PILGRIMAGE DAY 097
SCRIPTURE
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
DEVOTIONAL
The end of a month can feel like an invitation to judge the whole road.
You remember what changed, what did not, and what you hoped would be different by now. A calendar boundary can make unfinished things feel suddenly overdue, even when no real deadline has changed.
Bring October before God as it was lived. Name a mercy, a lesson, and a burden that still needs care. If November requires a practical adjustment, make a simple note. You do not have to resolve every open thread to let the page turn.
Peter grounds the invitation to release our care in God’s care for us. That care is not confined to the month in which we first needed it. Let tonight mark a truthful handover, not a demand that you become a finished person before tomorrow begins.
INSIGHT
A calendar can turn while our growth and responsibilities remain unfinished under God’s care.
REFLECTION
What mercy or lesson belongs in your remembrance of October?
What burden can you entrust to God as the month closes?
PRAYER
Father, receive this month in its truth. Thank You for its mercies, guide what still needs attention, and help me enter the next month without carrying every unfinished moment as a verdict. Amen.
BENEDICTION
Let the month close without forcing the story shut.
God’s care goes with you into the next page.
