Spiritual life is not meant to remain an inward idea.

Paul moves from life to walking. The Spirit who gives life also shapes pace, direction, and ordinary conduct.

Walking by the Spirit may look less dramatic than expected: patience before replying, truth without cruelty, self-control when appetite becomes loud, kindness where irritation feels justified.

Ask not only what you believe this morning, but how that life will put on its shoes.

The life of the Spirit becomes visible through the direction and manner of our daily walk.

REFLECTION

Where will your faith need feet today?

Which fruit of the Spirit is most needed in that place?

PRAYER

Holy Spirit, let the life You give become the way I walk. Govern my pace, words, appetites, and reactions. Make Your fruit visible in ordinary ground. Amen.
