SCRIPTURE

“Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.”

Psalm 27:14

DEVOTIONAL

Night reminds us that time cannot be held still.

The day passed with some questions unanswered and some hopes still waiting. We may be tempted to call delay neglect. The psalm answers: wait for Yahweh.

God is not merely present at the eventual answer. He is present in the interval. Tonight has its own grace—the chance to stop measuring progress and let time remain in wiser hands.

The heart can take courage without knowing the date of resolution.

INSIGHT

Waiting becomes bearable when we recognize God within the interval, not only at its conclusion.

REFLECTION

Which delay has begun to feel like abandonment?

Where might God be meeting you inside the interval?

PRAYER

Yahweh, I give You the timing I cannot command. Meet me in the interval, strengthen my heart, and keep delay from becoming despair. Amen.

Let time remain with God.

Courage can rest while it waits.
