SCRIPTURE

“Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.”

Psalm 27:14

DEVOTIONAL

Some hours refuse to become what we want them to be.

The answer does not arrive. The energy does not return. The other person is not ready. We push because accepting the present limit feels like surrender.

But waiting for God is not surrender to hopelessness. It is surrender of false control.

Ask what this hour can faithfully hold. Perhaps it can hold preparation, prayer, a smaller task, or honest rest. Do not demand harvest from a field still in season.

INSIGHT

Faith honors timing by doing what belongs to the present hour without forcing what belongs to another.

REFLECTION

What are you trying to make happen before its time?

What faithful work actually belongs to this hour?

PRAYER

Father, keep me from forcing this hour to carry what it cannot. Show me the work of waiting and give me peace with the pace of Your wisdom. Amen.

BENEDICTION

Do not force the hour.

God is not late to His own work.
