EVENING EMBERS undefined: THE SPRING THAT DOES NOT FAIL

SCRIPTURE

“Yahweh will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.”

Isaiah 58:11

DEVOTIONAL

Human strength has limits.

By evening, the body knows what the will sometimes refuses to admit. Energy lowers. Attention frays. The soul cannot keep drawing from itself without becoming dry.

God promises something deeper than endless personal capacity: a spring whose waters do not fail. The source is not your stamina.

Come thirsty tonight. You do not have to pretend to be a reservoir. Receive what you need from the One who remains full.

INSIGHT

Spiritual strength grows when we stop mistaking ourselves for the source.

REFLECTION

Where have you been drawing only from your own reserves?

What thirst needs to be brought honestly to God?

PRAYER

Yahweh, I have reached the edge of my own supply. Satisfy my soul, strengthen what is tired, and teach me to drink from Your unfailing life. Amen.

BENEDICTION

You are not the reservoir.

Rest beside the spring that does not fail.
