EVENING EMBERS 057: THE PRAYER REMAINS

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2026 • PILGRIMAGE DAY 057

SCRIPTURE

“Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly.”

Psalm 5:3

DEVOTIONAL

Some prayers outlive the day in which they were spoken.

The need remains. The answer has not become clear. Evening may tempt you to repeat the request as though God forgot it between morning and night.

You may pray again, but not because heaven misplaced your words. Pray because relationship continues. Then let the prayer remain with God while you rest.

What was placed before Him this morning is still before Him tonight.

INSIGHT

Unanswered prayer is not unattended prayer.

REFLECTION

Which request remains open tonight?

Can you trust that God still holds what you laid before Him?

PRAYER

Yahweh, this prayer remains unfinished to me, but it is not forgotten by You. Keep it through the night and keep my heart from fear while I wait. Amen.

BENEDICTION

The prayer remains before God.

You may leave it there tonight.
