SCRIPTURE

“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Exodus 33:14

DEVOTIONAL

Rest is not always found by escaping the place that tired us.

Sometimes rest begins by discovering that God is present within the unfinished room, the unanswered question, and the life still being arranged.

“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” The promise joins rest to God Himself.

Tonight, you do not need ideal conditions. Let the day be incomplete. Let the new routine remain awkward. Rest where God is—and God is here.

INSIGHT

Rest becomes possible when the presence of God matters more than the perfection of our circumstances.

REFLECTION

What condition have you believed must change before you can rest?

Can you receive God’s presence within what remains unfinished?

PRAYER

God, meet me in these imperfect conditions. Release me from waiting for everything to settle before I rest. Let Your presence be enough for this night. Amen.
