SCRIPTURE

“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Exodus 33:14

DEVOTIONAL

We measure a new beginning by progress.

Boxes emptied. Work completed. Names remembered. Problems solved. Progress matters, but it cannot give the soul what only presence can provide.

Moses did not merely need directions through the wilderness. He needed assurance that God would go with him. God answered with presence and rest.

Before measuring what you accomplish today, receive the deeper gift: God is with you. Let progress grow from companionship rather than panic.

INSIGHT

The presence of God is not a reward for finishing the journey; it is provision for traveling it.

How are you measuring whether this day is going well?

What would it mean to value presence before progress?

PRAYER

God, go with me through every task and transition. Keep me from using productivity to manufacture security. Let Your presence become the rest beneath my work. Amen.
