“Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5–6

DEVOTIONAL

A path is made of turns.

We may acknowledge God at the beginning of a journey and then navigate the daily intersections alone. The proverb speaks more completely: in all your ways acknowledge Him.

This turn matters too. The email, the expense, the new relationship, the moment of irritation, the choice to ask rather than assume—each can be brought beneath God’s attention.

You do not need a dramatic sign. Pause long enough to ask which direction reflects truth, love, wisdom, and humility. Then take that road.

INSIGHT

Guidance becomes a way of life when we invite God into ordinary turns, not only major crossroads.

REFLECTION

What turn are you approaching right now?

Have you acknowledged God within it?

PRAYER

Father, enter this ordinary turn with me. Guard me from haste and self-reliance. Direct my choice toward what is truthful, loving, and faithful. Amen.
