SCRIPTURE

“Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5–6

DEVOTIONAL

The mind often draws maps at night.

It traces every possible route through tomorrow, hoping one more plan will finally produce peace. But imagined maps cannot remove the uncertainty of roads not yet traveled.

You have used the understanding available to you. Now release the need to make it complete. God can straighten a path you cannot yet see.

Fold the map for tonight. Trust is allowed to sleep.

INSIGHT

Nightly surrender accepts that guidance can arrive tomorrow rather than being manufactured tonight.

REFLECTION

Which future path are you repeatedly mapping in your mind?

What would it mean to fold that map until morning?

PRAYER

Yahweh, I release my need to predict every turn. Hold tomorrow beyond the reach of my understanding, and let trust quiet my mind tonight. Amen.

BENEDICTION

Fold the unfinished map.

The Guide remains awake.
