EVENING EMBERS 062: TOMORROW CAN WAIT
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2026 • PILGRIMAGE DAY 062
SCRIPTURE
“Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own trouble is sufficient.”
Matthew 6:34
DEVOTIONAL
Tomorrow often becomes loudest when tonight grows quiet.
The mind believes planning one more outcome will make sleep safer. But Jesus places tomorrow beyond tonight’s assignment.
Prepare what is reasonable. Write down what must not be forgotten. Then stop. Tomorrow will arrive with its own responsibilities and its own supply of grace.
You do not need to meet it before morning.
INSIGHT
Evening trust refuses to spend tonight’s strength on a day that has not yet opened.
REFLECTION
What are you trying to complete internally before tomorrow arrives?
Can you let morning introduce the next day?
PRAYER
Jesus, I release tomorrow from tonight’s supervision. Keep what lies ahead and let the day now ending become complete. Give me sleep within today’s mercy. Amen.
BENEDICTION
Tomorrow can wait.
Tonight has only asked you to rest.
