DAWN WATCH 063: RESTORATION BEGINS

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2026 • PILGRIMAGE DAY 063

SCRIPTURE

“He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”

Psalm 23:3

DEVOTIONAL

Restoration often begins before we feel restored.

The Shepherd leads toward water, quiet, truth, and the next right path. The soul may still be tired while it is being guided back to life.

Do not demand immediate fullness as proof that God is working. Receive the first restoring movement: a slower breath, an honest prayer, a nourishing meal, a return to Scripture, a willingness to be helped.

The Shepherd knows how to lead a weary soul home.

INSIGHT

Restoration is both gift and path; God renews us while leading us through faithful practices of return.

REFLECTION

Where does your soul feel depleted?

What restoring step is the Shepherd placing before you?

PRAYER

Shepherd of my soul, lead me toward what gives life. Keep me patient with the slow work of restoration and willing to follow the path You provide. Amen.

BENEDICTION

Restoration has begun.

Follow the Shepherd’s quiet lead.
