“Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage.”

Psalm 84:5

Pilgrimage is more than movement across geography.

A person can travel far while the heart remains fixed in fear, resentment, or the need to control. The psalm speaks of those who have set their hearts on the road to God.

Ask where your inner road is pointing today. What are your choices carrying you toward? What kind of person is the journey forming?

The truest direction is not always measured in miles. It is revealed by growing trust, mercy, courage, and availability to God.

INSIGHT

Every outward journey carries an inward direction, and the heart eventually arrives where its loyalties point.

Where is your heart’s road presently leading?

What inner direction needs to be reset toward God?

Father, set my heart on pilgrimage toward You. Let every outward change become an inward movement toward trust, mercy, and faithful love. Amen.
