SCRIPTURE

“Yahweh will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.”

Isaiah 58:11

DEVOTIONAL

Dry country teaches the eye to notice water.

The landscape does not promise abundance at every glance. Provision may be hidden below the surface, gathered in narrow places, or revealed only to those who keep walking.

Isaiah promises continual guidance and satisfaction in dry places. God does not always lead us around the barren stretch. Sometimes He reveals Himself as provision within it.

Do not let the appearance of scarcity become your theology. The ground may be dry, but the Guide has not disappeared.

God’s guidance is not suspended by barren conditions; it often becomes more recognizable within them.

What part of life feels dry right now?

Where might God be providing more quietly than you expected?

PRAYER

Yahweh, guide me through every dry place. Keep scarcity from ruling my imagination, and open my eyes to the provision You are already giving. Amen.
