The road feels different once the first step has been taken.

Questions that were theoretical become practical. Energy thins. The unfamiliar begins asking whether you heard God correctly. Abraham’s faith was not confined to the moment of departure. It had to live mile after mile.

Midday faith is less dramatic than beginning. It is the willingness to continue when the road has become ordinary, inconvenient, or unclear.

Look for the next marker of obedience. Not the whole journey. One honest decision. One needed pause. One mile traveled without surrendering to fear.
