DAWN WATCH undefined: GO WITHOUT KNOWING
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2026 • PILGRIMAGE DAY 043
SCRIPTURE
“By faith, Abraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out to the place which he was to receive for an inheritance. He went out, not knowing where he went.”
Hebrews 11:8
DEVOTIONAL
Some roads begin before the destination becomes clear.
Abraham went because God called, not because every mile had been explained. Faith did not give him a complete map. It gave him enough trust to take the next step.
We often want understanding before obedience. We ask God to show us how the whole road will unfold, where provision will come from, and what the move will cost. Sometimes the answer is simply His presence and the step already beneath our feet.
You do not need to know everything this morning. You need to know whom you are following.
INSIGHT
Faith is not certainty about the road; it is confidence in the One who calls us onto it.
REFLECTION
Where are you waiting for a complete map before taking a faithful step?
What has God made clear enough for today?
PRAYER
God, give me courage to obey without demanding the whole road in advance. Keep my attention on You, and make the next faithful step clear. Amen.
BENEDICTION
Go with the light you have.
The Caller knows the road.
