SCRIPTURE

“Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Isaiah 41:10

DEVOTIONAL

Night reveals how tired our own grip has become.

We spend the day trying to hold plans, people, and outcomes together. Eventually the hands weaken. God does not shame that limit. He promises to uphold us.

You can release your grip without falling out of His. The household, the work, and the uncertain future do not rest on your nighttime vigilance.

Let the right hand of God carry what your tired hands cannot.

Rest becomes possible when we trust that being upheld does not depend on our ability to keep holding.

What are your tired hands still gripping?

Can you release it into the hand that upholds you?

PRAYER

God, my strength has reached its edge. Hold me, and hold what I love. Let my hands open and my body rest beneath Your faithful care. Amen.
