DEVOTIONAL

The temptation to cut a corner often appears where nobody is looking.

A detail seems too small to matter. A mistake would take time to acknowledge. Someone else could discover the missing step later. Faithfulness meets us at that quiet intersection of convenience and care.

Choose the detail that protects another person’s trust. Check the number. Explain the limitation. Correct what you know is wrong. Working heartily does not mean frantic effort; it means bringing an undivided intention to the responsibility before you.

You may need to adjust the scope or ask for more time. Honesty about capacity belongs to good work. Give the task the care it deserves at a pace you can actually sustain.
