SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2026 • PILGRIMAGE DAY 091
SCRIPTURE
“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:”
Psalm 92:1 (KJV)
DEVOTIONAL
A remembered kindness can change what we notice next.
Someone gave time when you needed it. Someone made space, offered help, or spoke with unusual patience. Gratitude can remain a private feeling, but it can also teach your hands another way to move through the day.
Look for one fitting way to pass care onward. Share a task. Offer a sincere word of thanks. Make room for someone whose presence is easily overlooked. You do not need to reproduce the gift exactly to let it bear fruit.
Generosity is not repayment to God, as though mercy created a bill. It is a response to having received. Let the goodness you remember make you more attentive to an actual person before you, with real needs and dignity of their own.
INSIGHT
Received kindness can train our attention toward the next opportunity to care.
REFLECTION
What kindness has shaped your week?
How could gratitude become one practical act of generosity today?
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for the care that reached me. Let gratitude make me attentive and generous without turning service into repayment or performance. Amen.
BENEDICTION
Let remembered kindness open your hands.
Give care a practical form.
