SCRIPTURE
“For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”
Psalm 100:5 (KJV)
DEVOTIONAL
Some of what sustains your faith arrived through people who came before you.
A prayer learned by listening. A kindness that made belief tangible. A witness who kept serving without pretending life was easy. The psalm’s language of generations invites us to remember that our present moment is not the whole story.
Think of one person through whom you received something good. Give thanks without needing to make their life flawless. Then ask what you are passing along through your own ordinary conduct.
You do not need a platform to leave a faithful trace. The way you apologize, welcome, share, and speak about others can become part of someone else’s understanding of care. Let the goodness you received have a practical continuation in your hands today.
INSIGHT
Ordinary conduct can pass along a faithful witness more quietly than a public statement.
REFLECTION
Who helped make faithfulness tangible for you?
What are your daily habits teaching someone else about care?
PRAYER
Father, thank You for those through whom goodness reached me. Preserve what was true in their witness, and help my ordinary conduct pass care onward with humility. Amen.
BENEDICTION
Remember the good you received.
Let it find a faithful continuation in you.
